What makes On-The-Go Physiotherapy unique?
Unlike other physiotherapy clinics, On-The-Go is fully portable and can provide comprehensive therapeutic services in the comfort and convenience of your own home or office.

What are the advantages of a mobile service?
Mobile physiotherapy delivers unparalleled convenience. More importantly however, this type of service also delivers dedicated, one-to-one personal service. This means you are the only patient and therefore receive 100% of the therapists' attention. Many other clinics simultaneously assign multiple clients to a single therapist resulting in minimal 'touch time' for each individual.

Can you really offer a full physiotherapy service without an office?
Definitely. On-The-Go has invested in specialized equipment that is fully portable and can deliver multiple physical modalities such as ultrasound, LASER and muscle stimulation. We also provide a full array of manual therapy mobilizations, myofascial and deep tissue massage and acupuncture. The only things missing are the crowds, traffic and inconvenience.

How do your costs compare with typical clinics?
On an individual assessment and treatment basis, On-The-Go charges slightly higher rates than multi-patient, multi-therapist clinics. On an overall treatment program however, On-The-Go actually averages less as the dedicated sessions produce quicker results, requiring fewer follow-on treatments and therefore less overall cost.

Why would I use On-The-Go Physiotherapy versus other physiotherapy services?
When you seek out physiotherapy, rapid time-to-recovery is important. Convenience and personalized service are how we meet your needs. The net result is you get better faster - at no additional cost.

Why are there so few mobile services available?
Most physiotherapists are unwilling to risk the time and capital necessary to set up a fully mobile service. Traditionally, multi-therapist, multi-patient clinics are the "safe bet" to establish a new practice and to share start-up costs. The equipment used in these typical clinics is not practical for use in a mobile service. On-The-Go built its practice from the ground up to be a fully portable, mobile service.

What can I expect on my first appointment?
The Physiotherapist will begin by taking a history of your present condition to help determine the cause of your pain.
Next, she will perform a comprehensive biomechanical examination that can include observing your posture, assessing your range of motion, flexibility, strength, core stability, neural mobility, joint stability, proprioception and functional status. The area will be palpated for swelling and abnormal tone or joint position. Specific manual techniques will be performed to determine which, if any, of your joints are stiff or loose.
Following the assessment, a diagnosis will be made, and treatment will begin on the same day.

What should I wear for the first appointment?
Wear something comfortable.
Bring a pair of shorts if it is a lower back, hip, knee, ankle, or foot problem.
Bring a tank top if it is a neck, upper back, shoulder, elbow, or hand problem.
